NEC’s MultiSync FP950 showcases excellent color photographic images, good color control and great screen focus on a 19" flat screen. With awards from CADENCE (Editor’s Choice, 5 Bullets), PC World (Top 10 Monitors) and PC Computing (4 Stars), the FP950 has become noticed as a critical and consumer favorite among 19" CRTs.
A {PC World review} points out the monitor’s super-fast refresh rate and excellent color as a strong points, as does a ZDNet article and most other reviews. The only downside out anyone has mentioned seems to be the relatively high price ($799), but, as sources like PC Computing point out (full review), the FP590’s price is justified by the high-end features it’s loaded with. A CADENCE review called it one of the best monitors they tested, and when you tack that on to the fact they called it "attractively priced" in their awards column, you’ve got a winner.
