Creatives think not just with our minds but with our hands, too. Case in point: Have you ever had the experience of using your favorite software and you intuitively mouse over the feature you want—before you even think of its name? Your hands know the way.
The wisdom of experience in our hands goes way back to when we started making arts and crafts as kids. It was founded in the joy and freedom we first felt holding scissors and paintbrushes, experimenting, and making things. That’s the unique power of play, and it’s vital to our physical and mental wellbeing.

Unfortunately, as grown-ups, we often don’t get to tap into this power while sitting at screen all day, tapping keys and clicking mice.
But when you come to CreativePro Week, you’ll have a daily opportunity to get energized in our fun and social Maker Morning sessions. Each day features a unique activity led by one of the speakers.

Past activities have included jewelry making, origami, Zentangle, designing postcards, and assembling “memebooks” (flipbooks of relatable memes for designers).

Come to a Maker Morning session and you walk out with a refreshed feeling, a unique souvenir, and maybe some new friends.
