NAPL '07 Top Management Conference Slated for March 7-11 in Santa Barbara

President, CEOs, COOs, senior executives, and their management teams will once again be treated to the kind of world-class speakers they’ve come to expect at the Top Management Conference (TMC), the landmark event of NAPL (www.napl.org), the trade association for excellence in graphic communications management. Slated for March 7-11, 2007, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Santa Barbara, Calif., NAPL’s 2007 TMC features informative keynote presentations by:
Bradford Smart, Ph.D., president of Smart & Associates, and bestselling author of Topgrading: How Leading Companies Win by Hiring, Coaching, and Keeping the Best People. Dr. Smart has helped many companies “topgrade” their workforce through assessment and coaching programs, workshops, and an array of tools companies can use to execute topgrading initiatives on their own. The improvements in company performance brought about by topgrading have been featured in such noted business periodicals as the Wall Street Journal and Fortune. TMC attendees will be treated to strategies they can use to make sure they have the personnel they need to advance their own organizations.
Dr. Ramnath A. Lakshmi-Ratan, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Direct Marketing Association (DMA). A respected marketing expert with more than 25 years of experience in marketing products and services in both the B2B and B2C arenas, the DMA executive will share best-practices strategies on how graphic communications companies can develop effective and results-oriented marketing departments within their organizations.
Designed for senior executives and their management teams, NAPL’s Top Management Conference has a well-earned reputation as the forum for strategic management information, actionable business strategies, and valuable opportunities for company leaders to network with their peers.
“Developing top-notch executive leadership and a highly effective management team are absolute musts for graphic communications companies seeking to remain competitive in today’s challenging marketplace. NAPL’s Top Management Conference, which brings together industry leaders from across the country, is the best venue I know for company leaders to hone their management skills,” said Joan B. Davidson, president and chief executive officer of The Sheridan Press, and chairman of NAPL.
