Must! Have! This! Book!
The in-school design agency Studio 3 (part of the Norwegian Westerdals School of Communication’s graphic design department) recently published a book, Hyperactivitypography from A to Z.
Why does that merit a news article on CreativePro.com? Because this book is one rollicking read, whether you love vintage-style illustrations, type, or both.
Taking its inspiration from children’s activity books of the mid-twentieth century, Hyperactivitypography from A to Z includes games such as “match the typeface with its era” and corny jokes (“Why is the typographer’s wife jealous? Because when he texted her ‘I love U’, he actually meant that, literally”).
