MadeToPrint Supports Multi-Channel Formats & InDesign's Live Preflight
axaio software, developer of PDF creation, printing and content correction workflow solutions for Adobe InDesign and QuarkXpress environments, has added support for IDML, Flash CS4, SWF and INX formats, as well as easy integration with InDesign Live Preflight, to its MadeToPrint product line.
As a result, MadeToPrint users will enjoy even tighter quality control, more automation and streamlined collaboration and processing of multi-channel publishing jobs, which are increasingly using these formats and the Live Preflight solution.
axaio products are available from Tools4Media in North America.
Automated Processing of Multiple Publishing Formats for Multiple Publishing Channels
MadeToPrint CS4 Standard through the Server version now offers support for the following, increasingly popular, formats:
– IDML, or InDesign® Markup Language, for publishing content across various systems and output media
– Flash CS4, a XFL for further editing the exported file in Adobe Flash Professional
– SWF to output a file ready for playback in a Flash Player
– INX for backwards compatibility with previous versions of InDesign (also available in MadeToPrint version CS3)
Now Supporting InDesign Live Preflight
In addition to its existing, built-in preflight; MadeToPrint now also interacts seamlessly with InDesign’s Live Preflight. Preflight profiles generated in InDesign are now automatically executed in MadeToPrint, providing additional controls such as:
– color space (CMYK or RGB)
– image resolution
– font size minimums, and more.
These additional controls enable even more consistent file output, and eliminate the need to maintain different quality specification files for different applications.
Pricing and Availability
The updated MadeToPrint product line is immediately available.
Pricing remains the same: MadeToPrint Standard sells at € 349/$490, MadeToPrint Auto is available from € 2.490/$3490 and MadeToPrint Server from € 5.490/$7690.
