Innovative Training Newsletter for Corel Painter Winning Rave Reviews

Have a question about using Corel Painter? Ask Karen Sperling and she’ll answer in her Artistry Tips and Tricks newsletter!
“This is a brand-new concept in computer software training,” says Sperling. “For just $10 a month, readers get to ask the author of the first several Painter manuals in addition to several published Painter books any Painter question they’d like. They then get answers in the form of written instructions accompanied by interim images in my Artistry Tips and Tricks newsletter. And if subscribers don’t have any questions for a particular month, they’re getting the benefit of reading the answers to what others have asked and learning something they might not have thought of!”
Artistry Tips and Tricks is an Acrobat-format newsletter, downloadable from the Artistry web site at https://www.artistrymag.com. In addition to subscriptions, the newsletter is available one issue at a time for $14 each.
So far, most of the questions coming into Artistry Tips and Tricks are about turning photos into paintings in Painter. However, Sperling notes, questions about using Painter for anything including fine art and cartooning are welcome.
The Artistry Tips and Tricks newsletter is earning rave reviews from subscribers. Here are just a couple of examples:
“Karen Sperling’s monthly downloadable Painter ezine, Artistry Tips and Tricks, deservedly earns the devotion of all levels of Painter users. The technically informative content is written in both an engaging and approachable manner, never losing sight of the very foundations of art theory. Quite an undertaking for any publisher. Artistry Tips and Tricks succeeds in both arenas deftly.” Terre Spencer
“Karen’s approach to each topic or exercise in the Artistry Tips and Tricks monthly newsletter is clear and concise. The outlined steps to achieve the result are easy to follow, whether one is working with similar artwork as shown in her examples, or artwork that is in a completely different genre. The approach she uses in her guides helps stimulate one to venture around Painter’s tools and brushes. It seems that the more I learn Painter from Karen, the more creative ideas I have.” Blair Hartsfield
