InDesign Plug-in “InData Pro” Now Available from Em Software
A Pro version of the venerable InData plugin for InDesign has been released

We’re delighted, excited and overjoyed to announce that we’ve released a Pro version of the venerable InData plugin for InDesign.
InData Pro (first appearing in version 3.0) is the long-awaited version of InData that finally unlocks the ultimate publishing power of InDesign, supporting anchored-inline-everything (groups, text frames, text-on-a-curve, all with optional custom anchoring) and—most importantly for data publishing—real inline tables.

With these new features, you can really build just about anything, from a simple directory to the most complex flowing layouts that you can construct in InDesign. The video above just scratches the surface, but should give you a good idea of the range of InData’s new-found power.
This is a watershed moment for InDesign-based data publishing—InData Pro is now the most powerful and cost-effective tool on the market!

Getting started with InData Pro
If you’re already using InData and would like to try out the Pro features, first download and install the latest InData 3.0 (which should work with your current license if you’re up to date). Then contact us using InData > Contact Support to create an email, and make the body text “Requesting a Pro trial.” (This is the only way to request a trial, given our licensing mechanisms, so please don’t email us another way, nor call us about it.)
If you haven’t been using InData already, just download (and double-click to install) the latest appropriate version from the Downloads for InDesign sidebar on the product page and start your free trial. The Pro features will be fully enabled for the 15-day trial.
If you’d like to purchase InData Pro once you’re happy with it working in trial mode, you can visit the InData order page and select the InData Pro 12-months subscription option (the only Pro option for now).
(Note that the InData Pro features are unlocked by a Pro license, using a standard InData 3.x download—i.e., there’s no separate Pro download.)
