    For the initial launch, one small group was almost ignored. I was part of that group which hated Quark because it was so clumsy and having trouble with PageMaker because it often didn’t work. It was simply stretched to its limit.
    For me, InDesign 1.0 was a wonderful piece of software, beginning to realize what I had always thought PageMaker should be able to do. I was in, the whole way, from K2 on. I’ve never had any trouble with it until the subscription model started reaching out its greedy tentacles
    But it remains a wonderful program, though the book design area has been languishing.

      I used InDesign from version 1.0 and i love it from the first minute :-) But the subscription model change my position from the satisfied user to a victim of racketeering… :-(
