How to Use a Raster Image as a Texture in Illustrator
Learn how to use a raster image to create an overall texture in an Illustrator file and how to adjust color and opacity as well.
In this Illustrator video, Ari Weinstein deconstructs an illustration that is using a raster image to create an overall texture. He is able to see that it is a TIF file from Photoshop saved as black and white. Ari then shows how certain TIF files can be placed into Illustrator, where color and opacity settings can then be applied.
This video is an excerpt from Ari’s “Deconstructing Illustrator Art” session at our Adobe Illustrator Summit. Check out this and all of our events on our events page.
