Gluon ProScale 8 Comes to Quark 7
Publishing software developer GLUON has just released a new QuarkXPress™ 7 compatible version of ProScale, their flagship XTension.
Like previous versions of ProScale, version 8 can resize an entire, multi-page document in one click, saving many hours of tedious manual work. Still packed with all the normal features users have come to depend on, this new version adds optional drop shadow scaling to take advantage of this new feature of XPress 7. All text, table and picture scaling routines have been updated to operate smoothly with Quark’s impressive new text and graphics engine.

“Having ProScale is like having a design assistant.” says Chief Editor for Design Tools Monthly, Jay Nelson. “ProScale continues to impress me,” says Peter McClard, GLUON CTO. “It’s seems to be such a simple program but we’ve found it to be one that’s full of complexity and touches every element of publishing. We use a test document we call the ‘document of death’ with over 1000 boxes on it which crashes all the competitors but ProScale eats it for lunch. ” GLUON ProScale costs $139, Volume discounts and site licenses are available. Upgrades from ProScale 7.x are $79. Product page https://www.gluon.com/product-proscale.html
