GIA and GretagMacbeth Present Digital Sign Making Seminar, "Making the Leap to Digital"

This fall, the GIA and GretagMacbeth will offer a digital sign making seminar, “Making the Leap to Digital.” The will tour 19 North American cities with the support of Onyx Graphics, Roland DGA, Avery Graphics, Seal Graphics and National Business Media.
During this full day of training, attendees will get the jump on their competition with the latest tools and techniques for professional display graphics. The program is designed to benefit new to intermediate level digital sign makers, print service providers, and sign franchises; as well as anyone who needs help transitioning from traditional sign making or integrating existing digital components into their workflow.
Topics include:

  • Signage market opportunities
  • Growing your digital business
  • Fundamentals of digital technology
  • Differences between aqueous, mild solvent, solvent and UV-cure

  • Matching spot colors, including printing Å’vinyl? colors
  • Printing color signs and banners with confidence
