Adobe has informally shared the first information about its next version of Photoshop. There will be a 64-bit version of the photo-editing software, but only for Windows, not for Mac OS X. The 64-bit version of Photoshop CS4 will give a performance kick of about 8 percent to 12 percent compared with the 32-bit version. However, Mac users with Intel-based machines can run Windows with a dual-boot configuration or through virtualization software.
Ork Design has some very interesting typographic posters of famous US cities. Each poster shows the neighborhoods of various cities arranged as a typographic map. Posters include Boston, Brooklyn, my hometown of Chicago, Manhattan and San Francisco.
Karelia Software recently released Sandvox 1.2.7, a WYSIWYG Web site creation application built for the Mac. Download a demo version and see if you like it!
