Free Placeholder Images from Lorempixel
Nowadays, you can get lorem ipsum placeholder text in any flavor, from cupcake to bacon to tuna.
Or you can grab gibberish in the style of Walt Whitman, Jony Ive, and other famous folks.
While always amusing, some of these ipsums might be less than useful in real work.
But one site where you’ll find a lot of practical placeholder content is lorempixel.com. Instead of placeholder text, Lorempixel offers free placeholder images for both web and print work. Images come with the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license.
Controls let you easily pick the size, color, and content of the images.
Tip: you can highlight the X and Y values to enter in specific dimensions, or use your keyboard arrow keys to nudge a pixel at a time.
