Free Emigre Type Specimen Catalogs
Emigre’s type specimen catalogs are known for their beautiful looks and deep dives into the technical details of typeface design. You can grab a printed copy of the most recent catalog for a mere $3 (and they’ll throw in the next one for free). But if you’re more of the instant gratification, gimme-everything-you’ve-got-right-now kind of person (and who isn’t?), you can also download PDFs of past type specimen catalogs for free.

Twenty-two catalogs in all are available for the price of a click, and there’s also a rather nifty interactive version of the Historia catalog that allows you to click on each typeface to view the details about it (and purchase it).
