Create Ebooks for iPad With Free Book Creator App
Ever want to try your hand at creating an ebook, but the idea of learning all the details of EPUB held you back? Of course if you’re interested in just publishing to the iPad, you could use Apple’s iBooks Author, which eliminates the need to deal with code, and has the added virtue of being free. But if you wanted something even simpler (and just as free), you now have an alternative. The highly-rated app for making ibooks, Book Creator now comes in a free version.

Since it was released in 2011, Book Creator has been used to create more than one million ebooks for the iPad. It offers a simple interface for creating fixed-layout ebooks, and the ability to enrich them with photos, video, and audio.
The regular version of Book Creator costs $4.99. The new free version has all the same features as the paid version, but you are limited to creating a single book. If you like what you see, you can upgrade to the full version via an in-app purchase.
