Flashforward Film Festival Finalists Announced
The Flashforward2006 – Austin is pleased to announce the selection of sixty finalists for the 16th Flashforward Film Festival. Final awards will be announced at the festival, which takes place in Austin, TX, September 13, during Flashforward2006 Austin conference.
The public is encouraged to select one of our finalists as their choice to be the recipient of the prestigious People’s Choice award, given to the one site that receives the most votes from viewers. Voting is open now!

About the Finalists
Flash® web sites nominated by the public were carefully reviewed by our panel of expert judges, who selected four finalists in each of fifteen categories. Taken collectively, these finalists represent the state of the art in Flash web design and development around the world. Anyone looking for insight or inspiration is encouraged to visit these remarkable sites and congratulate their creators.
About the Flashforward Film Festival
The 16th Flashforward Film Festival will culminate in a live awards ceremony to be held during the Flashforward2006 Austin conference.
All sixty finalists will be showcased at the ceremony, and the fifteen category winners will be revealed, along with the winner of the People’s Choice voting. All winners will receive the prestigious Big Orange Rubber Arrow, a mark of respect from their peers in the Flash community.
