Olympus has released a free firmware update for its E-3 digital SLR. Installing this update makes the following possible:
* You can select the AF target by pressing the arrow keys
* AF accuracy improves when you’re using fast lenses with f2.0 aperture
* C-AF performance improves
* Improve battery life when using the HLD-4 battery holder
Important note: This update will reset all camera settings to factory settings, so you should record your camera settings before you update the firmware.
