The CreativePro Presentation Design Conference is coming soon! This online event takes place March 12-14, 2025. If you do any work designing and/or delivering presentations—regardless of whether you use PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, or Canva—you do not want to miss it. The agenda is packed with 18 sessions by world-class presentation experts, so it’s going to be mind-blowing from start to finish. Here’s a small sample to highlight five sessions I’m especially excited to check out.

Paris Sims

The Good. The Bad. The Less Ugly.

I’m pretty sure Leonardo da Vinci never made a PowerPoint presentation. But the man described the key to great slide design when he said, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” In this session, Paris Sims will share his strategies for distilling a lot of content down to the essential visual components to get the message across to your audience.

Dani Watkins

Did you even know you can design presentations with Canva? I didn’t until I first heard about this session. Of course, it seems obvious now since Canva lets you design just about anything. You can even present directly in Canva, or export your slides to PowerPoint or PDF. I’m excited to see what else Canva can do for presentations designers in this session by Dani Watkins.

Carmen Simon

Making Memories: What Neuroscience Can Teach Us About Presentation Design

Dr. Carmen Simon

We all know that graphic design is an art, but it’s also a science. We as designers can learn a lot to improve our craft by listening to folks who study how the human brain processes information. Folks like Dr. Carmen Simon, who will discuss how things like pacing, emotion, complexity, imagery are perceived and remembered by our audience.

Stephy Hogan

Making PowerPoint Presentations Accessible

Stephy Hogan

There are two kinds of presentation designers: those who have to make their presentations accessible, and those who soon will. But where do you begin? Is PowerPoint’s built-in checker adequate? And what do you do if it isn’t? Don’t waste time Googling and watching random videos that leave you more confused than when you started. Stephy Hogan will set you straight in this session with a real game plan for making inclusive presentations.

Taylor Croonquist

Taylor Croonquist

Who doesn’t love tips and tricks? A great tip that you can learn in one minute may end up saving you hours of work down the line. Taylor Croonquist will share a bunch of his best tips to help us all be more efficient than ever in PowerPoint.

But wait, there’s more!

Those five sessions cover some of the key aspects of great presentations. But of course, there’s a whole lot more to The Presentation Design Conference. I hope you’ll join us online this coming March 12-14. You can learn more about all the great topics and speakers and sign up here.
