Easier On-The-Go Learning with New Lynda.com App
Watching the wealth of educational videos on lynda.com just got easier with the most recent release of their free mobile apps. The newest versions—available for iOS and Android devices—bring a cleaner interface and faster loading of videos. The application also resizes to precisely fit different size screens. If you’ve made use of lynda.com’s playlists, you’ll find that they—along with all of your progress to date—are synced across all your mobile devices as well as the web portal. Android users are able to start watching on one device and pick up where they left off on another. In addition, the Android version of the app supports Chromecast, allowing users to view the videos on their TV and to use the app to browse and control the videos. Users of the iOS version can stream the course videos to their TVs via AirPlay. One of the most exciting additions is the ability for lynda.com’s annual premium members to be able to download full courses for offline viewing.
