e frontier Inc., the parent company of e frontier America, Inc., today announced that it has acquired the 3D CAD industrial modeling software, Amapi, from Eovia Europe. This purchase will allow e frontier to expand the company’s product line of graphic software that includes Poser, Shade and Manga Studio. Amapi was developed in 1993 and has become a popular NURBS modeling program. e frontier will operate an office in Bordeaux, France in order to continue the support of the Amapi development team.
