CreativePro Week Preview: 5 Can’t-Miss AI Sessions

The countdown to CreativePro Week 2024 has begun! The show takes place July 8-12 in Washington, DC. And if you work in graphic design or production, this is the conference for you. But don’t take my word for it, check out the agenda, which is loaded with valuable sessions on Photoshop, PowerPoint, Illustrator, InDesign, and more.

In this post (and others to follow), I’ll highlight some sessions that I’m especially excited to see. We begin with a little topic you might have heard of: AI.

Amy Balliett

AI Roadmap

Amy Balliett

We are right in the thick of an AI gold rush, with tools appearing and evolving at a dizzying pace. That’s why AI expert Amy Balliett is on hand to clue us all in on the state of art in generative AI. Also, Amy’s presentations are as entertaining as they are informative, so I know this session will leave folks buzzing.

Rob de Winter

Creative Problem Solving with AI

Rob de Winter

Rob de Winter’s presentations are packed with equal amounts of fun, creativity, and practical, time-saving tips. If you’re still using the same photo compositing and retouching techniques that you’ve been using for years, you owe it to yourself to come to this one. You may never touch the Clone Stamp tool again!

Lisa Carney

Fast Photo Fixes with AI

Lisa Carney

Adobe has made a big impact with Firefly and Generative Fill in Photoshop. But they’re not the only game in town. Lisa Carney knows all the essential tools for working with photos. And I’m excited to hear what works and what doesn’t with tools such as Evoto and Topaz AI.

Jason Hoppe

AI in Adobe Illustrator

Jason Hoppe

When most people think of generative AI, they think of photos and text. But Adobe’s been working hard to enhance your favorite vector-drawing app with artificial intelligence features. Jason Hoppe is one of those instructors who makes it all look easy, so you want to jump right in and start using these tools.

Kathryn Goldman

Pocket Guide to Design Law in the Age of AI

Kathryn Goldman

Unlike any other design tool I can think of, generative AI comes with a host of legal and ethical questions you should consider before using it in your work. And the laws around AI are changing as fast as the tech itself. So I’ll be very glad to hear what Kathryn Goldman has to say on the topics of AI and copyright, trademarks, and contracts.

AI-mazing!

This great content is just the beginning of an amazing CreativePro Week 2024. The agenda is packed with over 70 sessions by world class speakers. And any one of them might contain the tip, tool, or solution that revolutionizes your workflow. I hope you’ll join us in Washington, DC July 8-12.
