Is this a postmodern world or what? We are officially announcing an annoucement: On March 27, Adobe will make an announcement regarding the Creative Suite 3. Some news organizations have recently noted that Adobe will actually be shipping CS3 on that date, but I really, really doubt it. They’ve just said they’re making an announcement and Adobe doesn’t typically ship until some weeks after they announce a product.
Some of you will find this news really exciting, and some of you will find it dull as rocks (“woo-hoo! now we know when we’ll know something!”). But it’s our job, here at InDesignSecrets.com, to tell you the facts, give you the inside scoop, and generally jump up and down about anything remotely involving InDesign. ;)
We’re looking forward to talking all about CS3 as soon as we can. But in the meantime, we’re going to keep focusing on how to get our work done faster and better today.

Patience, Des! Adobe won’t be announcing pricing until Tuesday. No one knows anything until then.
I am enrolled at Nepean TAFE and using inDesign CS2 when exactly is CS3 being released and will the cost be similiar for a student –

The official word can’t come soon enough! My guess is that Adobe will want to really make a splash and go ahead and announce and release the same day.
Steve, I understand your doubts… if anyone has noticed, in the first few frames of the clip… an old generation Power Mac? In the age of G5s and Intel processors?

According to word coming from Adobe, the announcement will be ?the largest software release in Adobe?s 25 year history.? It will, of course, include a new version of InDesign CS3, but exactly what packages or configurations the Suite will include, or almost anything else about the release has yet to be released. The announcement will come in a live webcast from a New York City launch event at 3:30 pm Eastern on March 27th. At that event, apparently, all will be revealed.
Adobe is still being vague about a shipment date, now slated for Spring 2007.
This release of the Adobe Creative Suite 3 has been unusual for several reasons. The Spring 2007 date was announced to financial analysts at least a year ago by Adobe?s CEO, Bruce Chizen. In December 2006, Adobe unexpectedly began a public beta of Photoshop CS3. And I can?t recall Adobe has ever preannounced an announcement either! So stay tuned?.
I’m not at all sure that this is really coming from Adobe. On the Internet, it’s really hard to tell.

Where’s Modern Times’ Chaplin to add some creativity in this “workflow” (looks like hard workers just doing the same task over and over again) to eventually just build a square !
What’s the message there ? I, the little guy, build the huge Adobe logo (wealth) by adding the last box ?
