BeLight Software Ships Swift Publisher 1.1
BeLight Software has released Swift Publisher 1.1, an update to this slick OS X page layout application for designing and printing flyers, newsletters, brochures, etc. The version improves multipage document handling (for brochures and catalogs) and adds group selection. Swift Publisher 1.1 contains many enhancement and is available to current users for free: https://www.belightsoft.com/swiftpublisher/
“When Swift Publisher was developed, we thought it would be aimed at small and simple documents. Later we discovered that our users lack a tool to create multipage documents, so we’ve altered document storage technique,” says Stanislav Sedashov, BeLight Software CEO.
What’s New in Swift Publisher 1.1:
- Option to select several objects with the opportunity to resize and rotate them as a single item was added.
- Adjustable export to PDF using Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) capabilities.
- The structure of document storage was changed, now images are kept in their original format.
- nterface option to load large content (clipart, designs) from your computer or network was added.
- Object Picking functionality allows users to select one of the overlapping objects (by holding Command key).
Bug Fixes:
- Image auto-cropping problem and imprecise positioning for Tiger OS (Mac OS X 10.4) solved.
- Shadow parameters for exporting to PDF and printing are corrected.
- Resolution loss during image editing fixed.
