iPad News Round-Up
Did you grow as tired of the Apple tablet rumors as I did? Yesterday, the company finally laid rumors to rest by unveiling the real thing: the iPad. The device is 1.5 pounds, a half-inch thick, and has a 9.7-inch backlit display. It can host music, movies, games, the Web, and what may be of most interest to content creators — eBooks and media we’ve only had hints of so far.
The iPad will be available in late March 2010 at the following price points:
– $499 (16GB, Wi-Fi)
– $599 (32GB, Wi-Fi)
– $699 (64GB, Wi-Fi)
– $629 (16GB, 3G)
– $729 (32GB, 3G)
– $829 (32GB, 3G)
