Fonts that Ship with Adobe CS5
In the Adobe blog “Typblography,” Nicole Minoza spells out which fonts will ship with the Adobe Create Suite Version 5 and gives us a peek at the new Adobe Text family, which Adobe will give to users who register the software.
CS5 has 27 new fonts from seven families:
– Adobe Arabic (4 fonts)
– Adobe Hebrew (4 fonts)
– Adobe Fan Heiti Std (1 font, “Bold” weight)
– Adobe Gothic Std (1 font, “Bold” weight)
– Ryo Display PlusN (5 fonts)
– Kozuka Gothic Pr6N (6 fonts)
– Kozuka Mincho Pr6N (6 fonts)
CS5 dropped only three fonts that shipped with CS4:
– Bell Gothic Std Black
– Bell Gothic Std Bold
– Eccentric Std
The exact list of available fonts depends on which option you choose and which product(s) you install. See those list breakdowns by clicking the phrases below:
* The basic font set
* The supplemental font set
* Font sets by product
* Font sets on each product’s DVD
To coax people to register their new software, Adobe offers the choice between one of two type incentives: Adobe Text or Kazuraki.
