I have a Mac file that needs converting to PC. With no Mac handy I don’t know where to turn. Can anyone advise me?
What kind of file is it? What is its extension? If it is an InDesign file, just open it with InDesign on the PC.
It is a PSD.
._unhealthy_or_healthy_layered.psd
It is a Photoshop file and you should be able to open it with Photoshop on a PC.
But I cant. It is saved as a MAC file and needs converting to PC. The file name would not be:
._unhealthy_or_healthy_layered.psd
but
unhealthy_or_healthy_layered.psd
I get a wrong format error on my PC when trying to open it.
The file you have is the resource fork file rather than the data fork. Did you receive the file in a .zip archive? There should be a data fork in the package as well, named, as you wrote, unhealthy_or_healthy_layered.psd. See this discussion.
Lindsey,
No. Just the file. Have requested them to convert, but no response. So, looking for anyone who can do the conversion for me.
