I am sure I am missing something simple and obvious, but I can’t figure it out. I have two image frames, both with a 1pt stroke applied, but one appears much heavier than the other. All attributes seem to be the same. They are on the same layer, no other object styles are applied, etc.

My guess is that in the General pane of your Preferences dialog box, you have the “When Scaling” option set to “Adjust Scaling Percentage”

When you choose the frame with the Selection tool, do the Percentage settings in the Control panel show 100%? Or larger?

No, that box is not checked in the General Preferences.

Both images are scaled on the page, so neither are at 100%.

I should have added, that the one that appears thinner is the only image on the page with that issue. All of the other images on this and subsequent pages with similar images, similarly treated, have the same stroke.

I re-imported it into a new frame and everything is fine, but now it’s a matter of my curiosity being piqued. I’d sure like to know what’s going on so I can avoid it again.

OK, so this is odd! Using the control panel drop down menu, I scaled it to 50%, then undid that, and suddenly the weight dropped to .325! All I did was click the 50% and then control Z.
