When you’re looking at the fonts menu in InDesign, you probably know that you can click a small button to the left of a font name to reveal the available styles for that font, like bold, italic, etc.

But you might not know that if you hold the Command key on the Mac or Ctrl key on Windows, when you click any one of those buttons, you will reveal all of the styles for all the fonts in the menu, allowing you to view all your available font options at a glance. Well, a very long, scrolling glance, most likely.

Note that this expanded view of your fonts doesn’t stick. The next time you go back to the menu, it will appear as normal, with all the styles hidden again.
