Question About Resizing Document

      Hello there,

      Got a question if anyone in the know has a few moments. Is it possible to easily resize an entire multi-page document and drag all its elements proportionally within it? Say I have an A4 textbook with all the fonts at 13pt, can I somehow resize the document so that (say) all the page is reduced by 10%, the font shrinks down to 11.7pt, all the images get reduced by 10%, and so on?

      There is a built-in way to do it with InDesign’s alternate layouts. It’s a little complicated, and not very reliable.

      There’s also our QuickResize add-on: https://www.id-extras.com/products/quickresize which is very simple, and pretty reliable.

      Make sure to watch the video tutorials on that page, especially the second one which (a) demonstrates how to use InDesign’s scale feature, and (b) shows some of the problems with it!
