Lightning Brain MagnetoGuides for Adobe InDesign
Rorohiko Ltd, a software development and consultancy company targeting the prepress and publishing area announces the release of its Lightning Brain MagnetoGuides InDesign Plug-In.
This is the next installment in Rorohiko’s growing range of plug-ins. It is available for Adobe® InDesign® CS, CS2 and CS3 on Mac OS X or Windows 2000/NT/Vista platforms.
Its main target audience are people who use Adobe InDesign for the design of structured documents and paper forms, and its aim is to reduce tedious manual work when resizing and repositioning of loosely related page elements.
This plug-in allows the user to make selected guides ‘more magnetic’, so that, when such guide is moved, any ‘snapped to’ page elements follow the guide. It also allows ‘guide structures’ where guides automatically maintain a certain positional relation between them.
These simple mechanisms results in a very powerful new approach to paper forms design, allowing concurrent, coordinated repositioning and resizing of multiple page items.

The plug-in is priced at US$59.00 and a fully functional, 20-day time limited demo is available for download from the same web page.
Supported platforms: Adobe InDesign CS, CS2 and CS3 on Mac OS X or Windows 2000/NT/Vista.
