Font Fetish: Houschka Rounded
You know how you can hate a name because it belonged to the kid who shoved you on the playground in third grade? Or you don’t like schnapps because you drank too much of it in college one night that would have been memorable if you hadn’t passed out? …But perhaps I share too much.
In any case, these dislikes aren’t necessarily logical, but they are strong. That’s how I feel about Vag Rounded.
Vag Rounded Black and Bold

However, there’s a new family from G-Type that, while it has whiffs of Vag Rounded, has nonetheless endeared itself to me. May I present Houschka Rounded:

Type designer Nick Cooke created four faces in this family (a companion to the original Houschka family that debuted in 1999): a standard set and three additional stylistic sets.
This multi-lingual, OpenType family is available at the Fontworks UK Web site, www.type.co.uk.
