X of Y page numbering in long documents

      Hi,

      I am using the long document feature to prduce books.

      The problem I am encountering is that when try to use the page number x of y function, the y variable only fives me the number of pages within that particular document, not the whole book.

      The last page variable does likewise.

      My work around has been to type the total page count into the master sheet i have designated fro the whole book.

      I would like to know how to automate this function across the book.
