      Hi

I'm grappling with a problem about workflow for musical scores. MusicXML is widely used as an interchange format between scoring applications, but are there any InDesign plugins out there with the scripts to render MusicXML in InDesign? Currently, it seems the standard is to export EPS or PDF from the musical scores and drop them into InDesign pages.

This is related to a wider workflow challenge to consider how MusicXML can be used as a single source for multiple distribution, e.g. to EPUB or HTML5 … but that's widening the scope of the question!

      Many thanks

It's a great question. Sorry, but I've never heard of a MusicXML import filter for InDesign.

I think InDesign just wouldn't be able to handle the notation very well.
