I had posted a HELP request on June the 1st which has not brought any answers yet….. I am translating a document from English into Spanish which has a format that I must respect. The behavior of the document is chaotic; as soon as I open it InDesign gets havoc. At first I thought the program was the problem, but it only happens with that particular document: it slows totally down. I wrote to the person who sent me the original document and she says: The only thing I can think of is sometimes I find that the pink notes make everything go slow. Can you make a copy of the file and then remove all the notes to see if that's it. Or it's the cross references for the page numbers that link to a different page. Have you checked to see that they're updated. It's possible that there are some in there that are looking for a different book. Ask about cross references in InDesignsecrets an let me know what happens.

What do you think? How do I delete cross references?

      Please, HELP!
