      Hello,

I have an ID CS5 template with lots of character and paragraph and table styles in it. And now we start a project where these same styles have to be created in a different application to generate the help-files (chm).

Please advise if there is a way to somehow export the styles' parameters from ID, not to sit and copy them one by one from ID window to that other application window.

Export to css would be great, but even a text file fits.

The list of settings is showing when you Load the styles from one ID file to another but it is not possible to copy from this dialog.

      Thanks in advance!

David, thanks a lot! The plugin works GREAt!

Would you please answer one more question about styles.

I have files written in different languages with the same style sets (the names of the styles coincide but the language differ).

When I copy/paste a paragraph between the files it gets the style of the target file, and that is fine.

But when I _move_ a page from one file to another one – wow! all the styles in the target file are changed to the ones from the source :-(. Is there any way to prevent changing styles in the target file?

      Thank you.

That is strange. I do not see any difference between copy/paste and moving pages between documents. In both cases, the target document style is used.

Does this happen with all documents? (Try new documents, too, as a test.) Maybe rebuild preferences?

Creating a new document fixed the problem on Win XP 32-bit box. The styles did not jump into the target file.

Now the next test is to be done on Windows7 64-bit box. I struggled with the TOC styles and failed there.

      Thank you!

P.S. There is definitely a problem with CS5 InDesign related to bookmarks and cross-references in the files converted from CS4.
