P22 and P-Type Publications Announces Indie Fonts 3 and P22 Library Now Available in OpenType Format
Like the previous Indie Fonts Volumes 1 & 2, Indie Fonts 3: A Compendium of Digital Type from Independent Foundries showcases some of the best independent type designers and foundries from around the world. This volume features 20 foundries with over 400 pages of type specimens, plus a bonus CD with 53 fonts! There isn’t a better way to preview type designs than in print.

In other news, P22 type foundry has remastered the entire P22 division of historical fonts that were originally available via shops and sold in boxed packages. All fonts from the P22 division will now be delivered in 3 formats: TrueType, Postscript and basic OpenType. Updates include the addition of a Euro symbol, improved outlines, updated kerning, standardized Unicode for proper international language support, reworked hinting for improved on-screen readability plus standardized menu names.
