JupiterMedia Acquires GraphicDesignForum.com

Jupitermedia Corporation (Nasdaq: JUPM), today announced it has acquired GraphicDesignForum (www.graphicdesignforum.com), a leading interactive community of design professionals. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
"GraphicDesignForum is probably the most active online community where creative professionals can exchange ideas with their colleagues," stated Alan Meckler, Chairman and CEO of Jupitermedia Corporation. "This acquisition is part of our continuing strategy to supply designers with the resources they need, whether it is access to information, or subscriptions to services for stock photography, clipart, animations or stock footage," added Meckler.
The GraphicDesignForum will become part of Jupitermedia’s Graphics.com Network, which provides designers and creative professionals with tutorials on using leading illustration and image editing programs. It also offers creative professionals interactive discussion forums for sharing ideas on design issues and it provides photo galleries where photographers gain exposure for their work.
