      Hello,

I was wondering if there is a script or a way to apply different paragraph styles to specific paragraphs at once? Like the new ID 2023 feature “auto style” but it’s not getting the job done correctly, yet. I’ll try to explain what I mean exactly.

We have 4 different styles saved for the first 4 paragraphs in the text and then the last paragraph of the text. And now you need to go and click every paragraph 1 by 1 and apply styles to them. It’s not that hard but when you do this all day, every day you try to optimize your workflow so any help would be super.

You can use the ‘next style’- function in the Paragraph style, a helpful script could be ‘fix_pstyle_pairs.jsx’ (see https://creativepro.com/find-change-the-next-paragraph-style-with-a-script/). You can find the first and last paragraph of the text with GREP and assign the needed paragraph style to them.
