InDesign Book: Jumping or Lumping?

      My project is more like a magazine (a “bookazine”), and one article is VERY lengthy. I’d like to insert a “Continued on page XX” slug and jump the text to another document (the back pages) of the publication. Is this possible with InDesign’s “book” feature?

      If not, does InDesign have a command to combine the various book documents into one InDesign file? I’ve done this manually, importing one document after another, but I’d think InDesign would have something more efficient built in.

      Unfortunately, there is no way to set this up to update automatically with documents connected in a book panel. It only works within a single document:

      However, if you had to do it, you could probably fake it using cross-references, which can work across documents. I’d have to think about how best to do that.
