Reply To: swatch dependencies?

Basically I have a complex template with lots of paragraph and character styles that are unique to various parts of a book, but are ‘based on’ styles such as Root Serif, Root Sans, H1, H2, et cetera. I’d want to establish parity between these styles and swatches so that when I start a new project I can change the color for my H2s all at once, but already have the DOM model swatches for things and can change backmatter H2s, let’s say.

I wonder if what I’m looking for could be achieved using custom font books (ACB file), so I can create in essence font books for each project where my ‘master swatches’ would be the values of the book, and then I would just have all my specific style-related swatches to customize.

Just not sure the right path to pursue.
