The guide begins with a chapter on common resources, including topics like the Adobe PDF Print Engine, transparency, color management, OpenType fonts, and an overview of PDF settings.
Chapter 2 is all about InDesign CS6, including a set of tips for preparing files for output, preflighting information, PDF specs, and more.
The Photoshop chapter contains guidelines about resolution, color modes, and image formats.
The Illustrator chapter has tips on working with files from older versions of Illustrator, color modes, live effects, and how to handle complex files.
Two chapters focus on Adobe Acrobat. The first covers features in Acrobat X Pro, like overprint preview, Distiller, preflight, trapping, color conversion, page boxes, printer marks, and much more. The final chapter covers what’s new in Acrobat XI.
