The PandaWare Company has released another free periodic update to its Mac OS X time and expense billing application, TimeCache. This update to version 7.0.7 focuses primarily on report and invoice layout enhancements. Improvements and bug fixes include:
- Lets users add geometric objects to layouts to provide visual enhancement
- Offers far more options for customizing report text
- Separates report viewing and layout editing into two distinct modes to simplify both
- Offers more options for working with data collected by its built-in user activity tracking functionality
- Improves support for importing lists from text files
- Fixes a bug with printing in Mac OS X 10.5.2 (Leopard)
- A number of other bug fixes
TimeCache is a comprehensive time and expense billing application with support for timed or manual entries, retainer billing, customizable invoices and reports, extensive printing options, support for workgroups, and very flexible data entry options allowing users to work in a manner that best suits their work style. It also offers tracking of all a user’s computer activity, can use Apple Address Book entries for client contact information, can produce charts of billable time and expenses, can import from and export to iCal calendars. Workgroups can benefit from features that allow synchronizing lists of clients, projects and billing categories from text files or IIF files exported from Intuit Quickbooks.
