QuarkXPress-to-iPad Workshops in Denver, London
Although Quark has been talking about it since January, the ability to create applications for the iPad actually came to QuarkXPress with the 9.1 update, released in August. Using the App Studio, which is part of 9.1, you can either convert an existing XPress file to an iPad app, or create the app from scratch.
To learn more, read our review of QuarkXPress 9.1 and its App Studio. But to get on the fast track to creating your own iPad apps, you may want to attend one of Quark’s upcoming “Boot Camps”. These one-day workshops will be in Denver on October 20 and London on October 26.
During the workshops, experts from Quark and the publishing industry will explain from start to finish how to design and publish apps that will be downloadable from Apple’s App Store.
