Markzware has upgraded Q2ID, a plug-in that converts QuarkXPress files to InDesign documents. Q2ID version 5.5 can now handle files created in QuarkXPress 9, as well as earlier versions of QuarkXPress. The Q2ID version 5.5 plug-in runs in InDesign CS5.5. Q2ID is also available with QuarkXPress 9 support for InDesign CS4 and CS5.
The plug-in upgrade, available for Mac and Windows, is available now. Check the Q2ID Product Page to find out whether you qualify for a free upgrade. A full copy of the plug-in costs $199.
