      Hello,
      i’m a new member.
I’m working on a catalog price and I would like to connect data (product code and it’s price) from excel file with table inside InDesign.
Inside InDesign textboxes are not in the same place/table or page.
I know but i’m not find it that there is a apple script that read the price code in indesign, than find it in excel and replace it in Indesign.
      For example:
in indesign i have this table:
      code product unit price
      005132 1 lt #005132# €

      in excel this table
      code product price
      005132 1.000

i need that the script find 005132 in excel table and replace in indesign #005132# with 1.000

      Is it possible?

      Thank you

      Welcome to the Forum.

I was expecting this from you. Only a handful people knows that Michel do not work for free until it is a one liner script.

You can contact Michel on the email ID given by him and send your requirements in detail.

      Happy Scripting… :)

      Masood,

As often about me, you’re totally wrong! …

The last script I gave for free, some days ago, had … 2 lines!

Maybe you become old and forgot you posted a comment in this thread! ;-)
