CC2015 appearing as CC2018 files; crashing

      Our computers have CS5.5, CC2015, CC2017 and CC2018 installed. Because some of us use a publishing system, we must use 15. After 18 was installed on my computer a few weeks ago, the files that I create with 15 outside of the publishing system are showing up as 18 files. When I open them with 15 (which it does with no problem) and try to do things like delete pages, InDesign crashes. There are a large number of files which need to be made into templates for the publishing system, and I’m afraid that the templates will not be robust to use in the publishing system. Creating .idml files has the same outcome. Do you have any insight?

      I fixed this by going to Info (cmd-I) and changing the “Open With” default to CC15 and then hitting the “Change All” button!
