You Got Your Projector in My Camera!

The $429 Nikon COOLPIX S1000pj is a 12.1MP point-and-shoot that measures 4″ x 2.5″ x 0.9″. That’s pretty slim, and yet it can project photos or videos up to 40 inches. While Nikon is trying to capture the home market with the camera, professionals on the go who want a tiny and relatively inexpensive projector may find it a worthwhile purchase. The camera, which will be available in September 2009, also comes with a projector stand and a remote control to operate the projector and release the shutter.
