Virtual Fashion Basic for Poser Released by e frontier

e frontier announced today the release of Virtual Fashion Basic for Poser for Windows®. Virtual Fashion allows users to easily design 3D garments such as dresses, jackets, skirts, and shoes on Poser’s most popular figures Miki, James, Jessi and Terai Yuki. While Virtual Fashion was originally created by Reyes Infografica to design high-end clothing for companies such as Gucci, Prada and La Perla, Virtual Fashion Basic for Poser was specifically modified to easily design and export “dynamic clothing” directly into Poser. Poser users of all levels can now create their own clothing for Poser figures.
Virtual Fashion for Poser has an intuitive user interface that makes creating garments for Poser figures faster than was previously available. The workflow-based interface of Virtual Fashion moves users through a series of steps to quickly create almost any garment. After garments are designed, fabric choices such as silk, cotton, denim or fur are selected and simulated in a FittingRoom. Garments are then taken to the PhotoStudio, where lights and camera angles are set. In the final step, the MaterialEditor adjusts materials and changes fabric colors. After the garments are created, print-ready images can be easily produced in a virtual photo-shoot.
Daniel Scott Gabriel Murray, DC Comic Artist said, “This software is great for quickly making unique custom clothing. I can now easily make boots or clothing for my Ghost character.”
Virtual Fashion Basic for Poser exports garments in native Poser file format and is quickly accessed in Poser libraries for Poser figures. The program creates its own runtime folders in Poser and automatically uploads every new garment into the Poser library.
Laslo Vespremi, e frontier’s Director of Strategic Marketing said, “We are very excited about this release. Virtual Fashion is a fantastic tool for all Poser artists who want to create garments. Creating clothing in CAD software is normally a very complex task involving sophisticated modeling software requiring a steep learning curve, but Virtual Fashion has changed all that – it is so easy to use, and artists who have no previous training in 3D modeling or fashion design will be up and running in no time.”
Special Pricing and Availability:
Virtual Fashion Basic for Poser will sell for an introductory price of $79.99 (USD) until June 30, 2006. After June 30, 2006, the regular price for Virtual Fashion will be $99.99 (USD).
