I found the solution! Since the document I’m working on is meant to be send via online and not to be printed, I went to Edit > Transparency Blend Space and set it to RGB. Then, when exporting the document to pdf, it appeared a yellow triangle warning something like “preset specifies source profiles don’t match the current color settings file. The profiles specified by the color settings file will be used.” I went to Output > Color > No color conversion and the warning disappeared and the document exported well and with the text looking fine.
To be honest I don’t know what I did correctly since I don’t quite understand the whole thing.
