    Thanks for the reply.

    I’m asking how to learn how to design pieces better. The biggest problem I have with my pieces is figuring out what I want the design to be.

    I think that when I tried to replicate other people’s work I may have bitten off more than I can chew. I am relatively new to InDesign and Photoshop.

    I am working on a piece that I hope to have done for work on Monday morning. Perhaps, I can post what I have so far and get some feedback. Is there any way for me to attach a file?

    David,

    Thank you for the help, you are exactly correct. The text frames were behind the background frame. I made in the background frame first and put the text on top of it. Any advice on what might have happened or how I can keep this problem from happening in the future?
